we can groom your pet to breed standard or create a special look that you and your pets busy lifestyle. We will attend to your pet straight away so there is no waiting around. Longer stays are welcome by appointment.

Bathing.
Using only the finest professional shampoo, the dog is soaked to the skin with warm running water before the shampoo is put on. After a really good scrub, and lots a lather. The warm water is put on again to rinse off all the mud, grime, dirt, and dead skin! Then we repeat it all again and the whole process in the bath can take up to 20 minutes.
Some salons will use a big sponge and a bucket of soapy water to bath the dog, we don’t. We do it properly and the water runs through a drain all the while so they are not standing in dirty, soapy water.
A bath only is always a great way to get rid of all that unwanted hair as it is blasted out with a powerful Tornado 93 blaster dryer.

Conditioning and De-flea shampoo.
A special conditioning shampoo can give you dogs’ coat that extra shine and soft feeling
Many dogs come in for a de-flea, however, it is important to de-flea your whole house and car as the larvae live in your carpets and upholstery. They live in your house but live off your pet!

Trimming or Clipping.
if you just want you dog to have a tidy up, light trim with scissors, it can make a huge difference to their appearance.
If you want it clipping, you can get a smooth look or if the dog has lots of matt’s that have got a bit out of hand at home.

Hand stripping.
there are a few difference types of hand stripping. You can pull the hair out with your fingers but only a few breeds can be done this way, i.e. Border terrier, cairn terrier, Deerhound to name a few. You can also trim a dog by hand done with scissors and look a lot less harsh than clippers.

Anal Glands.
These are checked on request at no extra cost if having a bath.

Nail cutting.
Nail cutting service needs no appointment and is a very small charge. Not all dogs need their nails cutting when they come for a hair cut and bath so nails are charged accordingly, that way there are no hidden extras. I don’t charge for looking.
